Yoga has been part of my life since I was a teenager - so quite a long time ago - and no matter where I am in the world, I have always practiced yoga and appreciated the peace and sense of accomplishment that it brings. Becoming a yoga teacher (RYT200) this year has given me a deeper perspective on the physiological and philosophical aspects - though I expect to be a student of yoga for the rest of my life! I enjoy the creative aspects of teaching yoga - crafting interesting sequences and sharing the space and energy with others.

I was a late-comer to yoga. Having played competitive sports most of my life, and not being your typically flexible yogi, I was not sure if it would be for me. However, doing yoga makes me feel great - both physically and mentally. I feel stronger, straighter and with a sense of balance in life. I would love to introduce more people to yoga. As a recently qualified yoga teacher (RYT200) living and working in Geneva, I hope to do just that!

Having practiced yoga while working office jobs in London, I took the leap in 2016 with my first teacher training (200 hours) in Rishikesh, India. I am passionate about the balancing effects of yoga for busy lives and overwhelmed minds, and have since taken immersive trainings in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Among my wonderful teachers I count Norman Blair, Tashi Dawa, Burgs, James Reeves and Mimi Kuo-Deemer, the last two of whose books I was lucky enough to work on as their literary agent. I truly believe in these practices as an antidote to modern life, both on and off the mat, and I am excited to share them with you.

Yoga has been part of my life for the last 7 years as a practice that brings me balance, stability and provides me with a space in which I can clear my head. At the start of 2019 I completed my RYT200 training with an inspiring group of teachers and trainees in South Africa. Deepening my own practice and teaching yoga has helped me cultivate an awareness of my actions and the way in which I interact with others. I look forward to sharing what I have learnt as part of such an exciting community.

With roots in north India and working in healthcare, a deep interest of mine is to share the true essence of yoga. I took to the yoga mat over 10 years ago in San Francisco after being trained in karate, as a means to nurture my sporting activities. Very quickly, I experienced the wider health benefits of practicing yoga, which has helped me during challenging periods in my own career path as well in my recovery from a knee surgery. With the interest to learn more and deepen my own practice, I recently took a 200 hour yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh in India. Now, I am excited to start teaching and wish for yoga to be in everybody's everyday life for a happier and healthier living.

Yoga has been a part of my life for many years. At one time, when I had most difficult situation in my life, Yoga helped me return in life and better understand myself and my desires. As a devoted yogi and teacher, I am ready to share with you my passion and experience.  I have more than 15 years of personal yoga practice and I have 400 hours of yoga teacher training, including basic (RYT200) and advanced teacher training as Yoga Anatomy (ATTC-100) and Antasta Yoga (ATTC-100).  My task is to help students find physical and mental balance and harmony, because only in harmony with ourselves and the body we can truly understand ourselves and enjoy life.  I strongly believe in the therapeutic powers of yoga and the keen eye for alignment and harmony.  I will be happy to work with you to find your perfect pose, balance and inner peace.  Having recently completed studies in Antasta Yoga (Antasta - dive deeper), I will soon be offering EarthLabYoga students the opportunity to plunge into themselves while practicing traditional Hatha asanas. So watch this space!  I teach in English and I will be glad to accept Russian-speaking students to classes.

Trained in India at the Sattva Yoga Academy, I had the chance to experiment in depth with Kriya Yoga and breathing techniques.
